The Psychological Center for Community Mental Health MentalHub, is a non-governmental organization founded by five psychologists. The association’s key goal is to provide support to young people who have had the experience of hospitalization at the psychiatric department or have some other difficulties in the psychological domain. As well as direct counseling and psychotherapy with them and their families. The idea is to achieve this goal by organizing and conducting various activities that engage the capacities of young people in a creative way, by integrating psychological interventions with artistic activities and content, in order to provide adequate support and destigmatization. Also, the aims of the association are related to deinstitutionalization, public advocacy and research. The activities within these purposes would be accompanied by various events as public discussions, guest appearances in the media and campaigns. The vision is to become a leading organization in the field of working with young people who have had the experience of hospitalization at the psychiatric department, as well as their families, by promoting and introducing alternative models and practices tested and available in other countries.
